Introduction to the Academic Program – College of Dentistry

The College of Dentistry at the University of Manara is committed to offering a rigorous academic program aimed at preparing highly competent dentists who are scientifically and practically qualified. Graduates will possess advanced knowledge and skills in both basic and clinical dental sciences, enabling them to provide comprehensive oral healthcare that contributes to the overall well-being of the community.

The program is designed in accordance with the standards set by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, integrating theoretical education with practical clinical training in both general and specialized teaching clinics.

The academic program spans five years, after which students earn a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Surgery (BDS), qualifying them to practice professionally across public and private healthcare institutions. The curriculum emphasizes the development of critical thinking and clinical problem-solving skills, encourages engagement in scientific research and postgraduate studies, and promotes active contribution to the advancement of dental services and the improvement of healthcare quality at both local and international levels.
