College of Dentistry

The College of Dentistry is one of the university’s academic colleges, distinguished by its applied scientific approach. It was established in 2017 with the approval of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and was officially elevated from a department to a college in 2024. The college exclusively admits students from preparatory (high school) education with outstanding academic performance, for morning studies only. The program spans five years, upon completion of which graduates are awarded a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Surgery (BDS).

The College of Dentistry at Al-Manara University is to be a leader in the fields of education, scientific research, and community service in all dental specialties, both at the Iraqi and international levels. This is achieved by offering distinguished and innovative academic programs in scientific research and utilizing the latest technologies in the diagnosis and treatment of oral diseases.
To prepare scientifically and professionally qualified dentists who are highly competent in providing oral and dental healthcare, committed to professional ethics, and contributing to the development of scientific research and community service through the provision of distinguished awareness and treatment programs.
